IT'S THE FULLER BRUSH MAN!
A call I remember from childhood, when the local rep in southern New Jersey
would stop by in suit and tie (back in the 60's)
and reach into his jacket pocket to pull out a small hand full
of pistachio nuts, which he shelled and ate
while talking to my Mom about the products.

FYI I didn't know this: The word "FULLER" has a biblical connection- Malachi 3:2 and Mark 9:3!
I wonder if the company knows this?
From what I gathered, in the PILGRIM EDITION of the KJV Bible, Oxford University Press, copyrighted 1952, reference to "fuller" in Mark 9:3, is "one who cleanses, or cleans clothes". Back in Malachi 3:2 reference is made to "fullers' soap", with footnote #8 explaining: "This is a great cleanser and healer. A fuller is one who washes." Other references are: 2 Kings 18:17; Isaiah 7:3; 36:2, referring to "Fuller's Field"- "A spot near Jerusalem", according to a note in the Nave's Topical Bible, The Southwestern Company, copyrighted 1962. Also noted in the NASV Bible, Broadman & Holman Publishers, copyrighted 1977, "fullers'" literally means "laundrymen's".
